This from a friend, walking 350 km, solo, on the Via Francigena in Italy, close to Rome now, to whom I suggested your blog for his long hotel-room evenings: 'Just to let you know that I am reading Bill's posts religiously - I know he would like it that someone read his work religiously.

Thanks, Carolyne, that's great to know. Where are you located? It's too bad about the BIG FAT LIE of Collected Stories, when Selected is the truth. Harumph.
