What passes for yoga in this house is the awkward twisting motion required to reach the dictionaries when seated in my lounger. “Marmoreal” was the spur this morning. Thank you for the read and the exercise!

So happy to have come across it! I miss your, um, performances and missives on FB, as I don’t go there anymore. This is better. ❤️

Thanks so much for the kind comment and for reading. It's more or less dormant now, this substack, from time to time I add something but, well, mostly on to other things. I so appreciate that you took the time to read it, all best! BR

Thanks for this fascinating post. I recently visited the Maillol museum in Banyuls and bought Dina Vierny's memoir 'Histoire de ma vie'. I'd never heard the alternative version of Maillol's death until this weekend, but it sounds feasible. Am also a fan of MG, so your newsletter is a most welcome addition to my reading!

Oh, Jenny. That's so -- I don't know what. Poignant. Yes. I really haven't been able to listen to any of the details. Thanks for that -- hope you're doing very well in these always hard times.

I love FOM for "Friend of Mavis". As you know, I have always been a FOD, but after reading your blog, I will no longer think the "D" refers to Dorothy, but rather Friend of Deanna Durbin. :)
