Thank you, Bill. Break a leg (but not really) for the compline service. I feel connected to you and the many Friends of Mavis. Already strategizing a complete journey through the texts, so your work, sir, has been a triumph! Cheers!

It has been simply a heavenly experience, full of art, beauty, revelations, insights, and most of all, beautiful BR writing that inspired me to read MG all over again. That's pretty much what heavenly means, yes?

Gratitude in abundance coming yr way, Bill Richardson.

It’s been a great ride! Thank you, Bill, for providing a morning treat these past months, I’ll really miss your posts, and that is an understatement. Best of luck with the service tonight, and may the sunflowers still be standing tall. I would be there except for the fact of 1000km of separation. It being my birthday today, there will be a nice bottle of vino handy this evening and I will toast Mavis, and you for providing a portal into her world. All the best. (Margo)

Stories can wait. Stores cannot.

Thanks, Bill, for rising earlier for months in order to share the wondrous Mavis Gallant--and yourself--with us. Bravo!

What was that?

Listen.

Would love to be a the compline specially since it's embracing two of my favourite performers - three with you! I'll put a sunflower in my window there are lots here on Toronto island - but alas too far from the church - it's been a fabulous journey, you've sent me back to the past when Mavis was my fave - I'm re-reading! Thanks Margaret Hollingsworth

Thank you for being such a capable, entertaining (was autocorrected to intertwining and I think that works too!) and informative guide over the last few months. I wish you and your fellow MG devotees all the best for tonight’s service and look forward to the recording.

Hello Bill, I’ve enjoyed reading your MG diaries, being a long-standing fan of her work. You might want to check out canadianwritersabroad.com tomorrow (or after) for an interview with MG that you may have missed. Thanks for bringing her centenary to Canada’s attention.

May the compline- and all your birthdays- be glorious.

Can you not just create an excuse to free-associate your observations on everything after this? Can’t go cold turkey…
