You've got a plan! Looking forward to the audio (if it's possible) but not looking forward to the end of this blog. Yikes! August 11th is too close!

Another wondrous piece. MG: clearly a tricky personality but that doesn't get in the way of me loving her work. And, like Linda Granfield, I am yiking August 11th's closeness. What's a fan to do?

And oh yay: August 10, St. Jame's.

Holy Toledo: how many more sleeps?

"All this, and heaven too."

Oh Bill, this is absolutely one of your best!

I've always loved your personal reflections (and boy, does that disassociation of mind and body at charity and industry events ring a bell), and your fascinating biographies of people lost to time that have sent me down many a Google rabbit hole of a morning -- but this is EXACTLY MG as she's lived to my imagination.

Artist she may have been, but as a human being, boy did she put the 'b' in 'bunt'. I think this may be why, although you make a persuasive case forr her, and I so enjoy these entries, I've resisted her literary charms. (I do wonder if she ever reflected on her '82 comments to colleagues when she finally, herself, engaged at the government teat.)

Looking forward to Richardson's Roundup as we approach August 11!
