Oy, the work you do for us, indeed! So glad to have you back, even though it means picturing you Palm Springs poolside and us here, knee-deep in snow.
I think you’ve got a one-man show just in this submission alone. I know you can memorize every word -so that will be no problem. Of course, perhaps it’s several one-man shows because you have to give Mavis her due …. So glad you’re feeding us again.
Thanks Lin. I’m poolside now! Hey question for you, do you remember if Judy Maas was a cousin to Louise Gluck? Did she ever talk to you about that? I know there was kinship, just can’t think of what! Hope yr super!
I never heard that. She would’ve rightfully expected that I wouldn’t have had a clue what that meant, then. I mostly heard about her laryngitis and not talking for a year.
The last time I saw her, this was after a period of years, and then by chance, she said, “Henry and I often hear you on the radio. We turn it off.” Then she walked away. I never knew what I’d done to so offend her! Must have been bad. Oh, well!
Her dementia was pretty bad, and I think Henry was severely paranoid -in the name of being protective . They stopped speaking to me, because he was sure I had stolen some of her music, and I went through every piece that I had.

Oh dear! I wondered about this. A loooong time ago. There’s an interview with Gluck in the Paris Review, her favourite show was Schitts Creek!
