Look, Ma! I made a movie. I was the director, the writer, the grip, the best boy. The star! Oh, Bill. You clever puss. How did you accomplish such a feat? By lying in bed, with my phone artfully duct-taped to a baking sheet - a long way from spotless, I had to work around the greasy bits - which I held between my knees, which were also none too clean. Oh, Bill. What an attractive picture you paint. I happened to have some bird ambience playing at the time which I neglected to mute, but I think it adds a certain forest glade ambience that we can all agree to call production values. Anyway, that’s it for today. Thanks to you all, as always, for kind words, corrections — I’m the King of the Slip-ups — and suggestions; they are appreciated. Here’s a link to something I wrote a couple of months back which addresses the question of working in bed, which I often do. (As the actress said to the bishop, etc etc etc) Carry on, xo, B
